I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He is a LOTR fan and loved the name. He started using it and loves it even more. I just bought a whole bunch more.
Felt like I was wandering the hills of the countryside when I smelled this soap. I hope it's a permanent addition to the store. Though some creepy faceless guy in a black cloak rode by my house on a horse asking something about "Shire" and "Baggins". Not sure if that's a side effect or anything but thought I'd mention it.
This is my most recent purchase, but is one of many. As a Tolkien fan, this was a must and delivers on theme. A very nice scent, indeed! But each purchase of coffee or soap has been satisfying and well worth it. As a plus, it is an honor to support monasteries in the United States. I highly recommend anyone to make a purchase if they're on the fence.
