Great!
We enjoy the roasted flavor of French Roast- it's full bodied with a hint of dark cherry...I get that but my husband thinks it has more of a smoky full body flavor, of course I use a dash of heavy cream and he drinks his black. Enjoy!

The best...
This is the best dark roast coffee I've tasted in decades of coffee experience--rich, robust, intense yet mellow, not harsh. I've gotten both whole bean and pre-ground and it has been my favorite for years. I also appreciate that I'm helping support an Orthodox Christian Monastery in their work. Win-Win!

Abbot's Choice
This is one of the most solid coffee's I've had in a while. It's mild and soft, but still very strong. Not like a bitter motor oil that one is used to in some coffees. The presentation of the coffee was magnificent in the bag, and the coffee itself was gleaming with oil upon opening. Perfect for the French press. I only do not give a 5, because that's reserved for top 3 coffees. I will definitely be buying this again, and recommending it to friends and family. Great value for money.
