Many believe tea tree to be helpful with dandruff. 

Because natural homemade soaps tend to be a little high in the pH, we recommend rinsing with a conditioner afterwards or, in the spirit of simplicity, a simple 1 to 1 dilution of apple cider makes a good rinse. Work it in and rinse it out. This will help the hair cuticles to relax and for easier combing and brushing.
