Product Description
This is a print of an icon of the recently glorified Saint Paisios of Mount Athos (who reposed in 1994) that was painted for our monastery's church by John (Shayne) Swenson.
The dimensions of the icon are 5 x 6.25 inches, and it is a "desktop" icon, meaning it has a stand on the back of the icon that allows it to be propped up on a desk, table or similar surfaces.

The Right Icon
I have been searching for an icon of St Paisios for a while. This is the perfect size icon. Many that are available are either overseas and unknown when shipment would happen, or out of stock in the US. I have heard of firsthand accounts of this Saint and his life. A perfect icon to give to someone with cancer. I should know, I prayed while I was going through treatment. Now I have an even harder decision to make. Should I place it in my icon corner, or put him on my desk at work.

I bought this icon after reading about the life and miracles of Saint Paisios. It is a lovely icon and will be treasured. I like that it stands on its own and can be placed on a shelf or desk.
